Come and learn to take charge of your energy and tools for inducing relaxation in any situation. In this introduction seminar, we will learn easy to do and easy to remember basic Qigong movements that you can incorporate into your daily life.

Would you like to have tools to reduce your stress and build your vitality?
Come and learn these mediation in movement exercises to help you focus your mind and calm your body. In these introduction classes we will lay a foundation for incorporating Qigong into your daily practice. We will use simple coordinated breathing and movements based on ancient practices to manage your energy. You will also learn ancient Taoist meditation practices you can use to build your Qi and calm your mind.

What is Qigong?
Qigong consists of short sets of slow meditative movements linked together in a flowing pattern. In Eastern belief systems, the primary focus is on building health by strengthening internal energy pathways in the body. You may or may not believe this is true.
What we do know from studies is that Qigong does help strengthen physical ability, including reducing falls. It also has been shown to help with some chronic conditions and does seem to have positive impact on depression and overall cognitive ability.
